With anillustration
degree from Syracuse University and an early career in
advertising art direction and illustration for clients such as Marriott
Hotels, Registry Resorts, Houston Galleria, and Sysco, Gwen has
recently turned her focus to children’s books through additional study
at the School of Visual Arts. She lives in New Jersey with her
husband and two cats. Besides drawing and painting, she loves
playing tennis, hiking, and alpine skiing.
